One of the great things about Ashland is the wonderful circle of friends my mother has gathered around her - these ladies are so supportive of their friends kids, and grandkids especially! They got together and threw Emily a (baby) book shower - everyone brought a book for Emily's library! This is the best idea, ever. While we appreciate the super-cute onesies that she'll wear a couple times, Goodnight Moon is forever!
Needless to say, there was much adoring Emily's cuteness, monogrammed cookies, froofy feathers, and only a small breakdown on Emily's part. It's hard to have so many adoring fans!
Sometimes, though, it's just a little much, don't you think?
At the end of the day, a good time was had by all!
Especially Grandma...
